Rubber Cap

My two new Easee Home boxes make a good impression, but the rubber caps for the Type 2 connection are embarrassing, they hang down from the start. Please provide a replacement that will serve its purpose.

This is my experience also. I can’t decide which thing depresses me more…. the fact that such a great and expensive design statement is totally ruined by this ‘cap’ hanging uselessly and unattractively at the bottom, or the fact that there seems to be no response from the manufacturer to the multiplicity of complaints about it.

+1 from my side. This flap is giving a very bad quality impression and lost its integrity soon after the wallbox was installed. It lost its fight against gravity and is ever since dangling around.

Please change / send improved replacements, …

Same Problem at mine

This was the first thing I noticed after my charger install - on such a well designed box, why on earth is the port cover so loose/floppy/poor?

Same issue here, this wont last for another year... it does not close and water is running into the connector.

The same problem is with my new installed Easee Home box.
I can't really believe that there is no better solution "to close" such an innovative, high quality  and high value (several hundreds of euros) equipment with such an unprofessional (rubber) cover/cap. This "opening" allows humidity/water coming into the type 2 connection and consequently inside the box (with the result getting a short circuit).
For example: A simple U-shaped rubber ring (for a few eurocents) at the hole/bore of the front cover, which will reduce the diameter of this hole/bore, can solve that problem easily. Hope you can realize such simple "improvement" on your Easee Home boxes (at least for future generations).
Best regards
