Currency cannot be changed. If I change to EUR and will save, the following issue occurs:
Site has already been configured with another currency

This has now been changed, and you can change currency again.

We've reduced the strictness of currency changes a bit now. Unless we're still too strict, you should be able to change the currency now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
