When I start the easee iOS App 1.3.8, I have always to enter phone number or e-mail with passwort. It would be great to have the option on the easee APP to use Face ID for login. Thanks.

Fix released in version 1.4.0 of the Easee app.

The issue has been identified and fixed, seems to only happen if you don't enter a country and phone number, but instead login only using an email address + password.
Fix will be included in version 1.3.9 and higher.

Fix is included in version 1.3.9 that's currently in TestFlight.

Hello Alek, I use for login the email address. I was wondering why the email address and passwort is not stored continuously on my iPhone 13 pro (iOS 15.3.1) after first login? This was the reason why I asked for easy login via Face ID. When I login by email the APP remember this for some time. Starting the APP again e.g. after 3 hours checking the status of the loading the APP start without asking. But when I use the APP after a view days later, the APP asking again for phone number/email login?

Right, most people use a phone number to login, instead of email. Email logins are a sort of temporary workaround for the very few people that need multiple kinds of accounts using the same telephone number (hence why we hide it a bit).
But regardless of that, whether you use email or not to login, we shouldn't ask for your credentials again unless you've changed your password.
So this is an issue, will look into fixing this asap, sorry for the inconvenience.
(If you have just 1 account with that telephone number, things should work without this kind of issue if you login using your phone number instead of an email address)

Thanks Alek for looking into this. I'm a little bit old fasion and very thoughtful by using my mobil number as login. Mobile numbers I not want to share. Amazon is also asking continuously for it :-) Emails easier to manage like using Apple ID with private email relay service sign in.

Very good points.
But yes, sorry about all this, ill make sure the email works properly again in v 1.3.9 or 1.4.0.
I'll post a fix for it later today that ill try and fast track via TestFlight at the very least.

I'm happy to assist you with trying/checking the new beta version. Just loaded the TestFlight APP and was planning to install the beta easee APP version. A warning came up saying "should the existing APP replaced by the test version? Datas may be lost in the process? Now I'm struggel if I shoud do this? Is there a chance to install the "Beta" version parallel to the official released version? Cheers, Roland
Alek Slater
Don't worry about the Data loss warning, its just Apple trying to be helpful.
We don't have a lot of data stored in the app, mostly just caching that will re-download.
You may have to re-login, that's about it.
There's no way to have both installed in parallel.
The TestFlight build is only if your interested, will release a beta version (1.3.9 that contains the fix later today or tomorrow).
(The current version in Testflight is literally the same thing that you have in the App Store).

If you login using a phone number and password, the information is stored in the keychain, you shouldnt have to re-type it in the next time you start the app.
Are you using a phone number to login, or an email address?
If its asking you to login every time you start the app, then that's not how things are supposed to work.
